Boldo

Boldo : Peumus boldus

It is traditionally used to treat gallstones, liver disorders, cystitis. Relieves pain of rheumatism.

It is also known for fighting hepatobiliary disorders and relieving constipation as an adjunct.

Description, habitat and culture : tree leaves and persistent in Peru. It can also be found in Argentina, Bolivia and Ecuador.

Preparation : Take up to 3 cups tea per day.
